UFC’s Tim Kennedy Faces Stolen Valor Claims: Critics Say ‘Where’s the Evidence, Tim?’ And We Found Proof There’s None

Former UFC star and Green Beret Tim Kennedy has responded to recent accusations of stolen valor, calling on fans to help verify his combat injuries by locating footage that shows physical changes to his appearance over time.

Kennedy, responding to allegations made on a recent podcast questioning claims in his book, specifically referenced visible changes to his neck and back that occurred between 2003-2006 and 2007 onwards, along with “brown marks” on his shoulder and neck from combat injuries.

The controversy centers around the absence of a Purple Heart on Kennedy’s 2011 DD214 military document. Kennedy explained this omission, stating he was injured in combat but lacked a direct chain of command to process the paperwork while serving as a coalition asset in Afghanistan’s IR Gone Valley in 2008.

“You can go back to fights in 2003, 4, 5, and 6 and you’re going to see my neck and my back one way, and then from 2007, 8, 9 and until today you’ll be like ‘whoa he looks significantly different,'” Kennedy said in his response.

Kennedy acknowledged he wasn’t diligent with administrative matters during his service, noting “I’ve never been the great paperwork guy, the great admin guy.” He indicated plans to address these documentation issues upon his eventual retirement from military service.

But what he is – is perpetually online. At least as far back as 2012.

The oldest picture of him to make it online is his participation in the California Pancrease championship. This was in around 1999 – pre dating his service. Kennedy looks unrecognizable.

National guard shared one of his old pictures in 2013 which he reshared. In the pictures he looks spotless.

What makes any injuries unlikely if impossible is the fact that he meticulously documented if he got even a scratch over the years so it’s inconceivable he wouldn’t share any of his military injuries.

These are just the select few injuries he shared over the years – and there’s many more. Kennedy is one of the most prolific picture takers we’ve ever seen.

His back and shoulders look spotless despite a very lengthy MMA career and military training.

And here’s a shirtless promo with Tim Kennedy from 2007 – in which he also looks spotless.

From the actual bout against Miller:

The veterans who questioned Kennedy had a funny response to his lack of evidence regarding the purple heart:

“From a guy who takes more pictures of himself than a Kardashian, you’re telling me you don’t have a single shred of evidence or a picture as proof?”

“In fact, what you said was you gave us homework.”
