Rampage Jackson Names UFC Hall of Famer to Worst MMA Stars of All Time List

In a candid interview on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson didn’t hold back when sharing his unfiltered opinions on some of the worst MMA stars he’s seen in the sport. The former UFC light heavyweight champion named a UFC Hall of Famer as one of the three poorest competitors he’s encountered over the course of his storied career.

When asked to name his top three worst MMA stars of all time, Jackson minced no words. “Forrest Griffin, he f*ing sucked,” Jackson said bluntly. He criticized the former UFC light heavyweight champion for crying after losing to Anderson Silva and “ran out the ring like a little b**ch.”

Rounding out Jackson’s bottom three were CM Punk, the former pro wrestler who had an unsuccessful MMA stint, and boxer James Toney, who lost his only MMA bout in 2010. “When you talking about MMA…all due respect I am a fan of you, but I’m going tell you your three favorite worst,” Jackson remarked about Punk.

Regarding Toney, Jackson simply stated, “James Toney, ugly ass.”

The outspoken star acknowledged his picks might ruffle some feathers.  However, he stood firmly by his assessments of who he views as some of the sport’s least skilled competitors.

This is not the first time Jackson has been vocal about his opinions on MMA stars. In the same interview, he also shared his list of the top five greatest MMA starsof all time. At the top of that list were Anderson Silva, Fedor Emelianenko, and Royce Gracie.

On Anderson Silva, Jackson said, “I’m gonna go with Anderson Silva in his prime.” When discussing Royce Gracie, he noted, “You’ve got to go with Royce Gracie because that’s, you know, he should have been the first name I said.”

Jackson also included former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones on his top five list, admitting, “I still want to get Jon Jones back because I think Jon Jones is the best fighter in the world.”

Jackson’s willingness to openly criticize fellow fighters, including a UFC Hall of Famer, demonstrates his outspoken nature and unwillingness to sugarcoat his assessments. His list of the best and worst MMA stars provides a unique and unfiltered perspective from one of the sport’s most accomplished and opinionated figures.
