Trump Pushes Joe Rogan to Endorse Him: “You’re a Khabib Person, Not a Kamala Person”

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, former President Donald Trump made a bold move, seeking an endorsement from the influential podcaster just days before the upcoming election. The conversation took an unexpected turn as Trump playfully teased Rogan about his potential voting preferences.

Trump, known for his candid style, confidently asserted that Rogan wouldn’t be casting his ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris. Instead, he quipped that Rogan was more of a “Khabib guy” than a “Kamala person,” referencing their shared admiration for the undefeated mixed martial arts champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The former president’s attempt to sway Rogan didn’t stop there. Trump reminded the podcast host that Nurmagomedov had previously endorsed him, suggesting Rogan should follow suit. “You should do the same thing, Joe,” Trump urged, “because you can’t be voting for Kamala. You’re not a Kamala person, I know you.”

However, the relationship between Trump and Rogan hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Just last year, Rogan expressed reluctance to support Trump, describing him as an “existential threat to democracy.” Earlier this year, Rogan even backed Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a move that didn’t sit well with the former president.

Despite their differences, the two men share common ground in their appreciation for mixed martial arts. Both have close ties to UFC CEO Dana White and count figures like Kennedy and Elon Musk among their allies. Recently, Rogan praised Trump’s “wheeling, dealing billionaire” energy and expressed concerns about global conflicts.

Trump’s campaign strategy has taken an interesting turn, as he recently spent time with YouTube stars Nelk, recording a podcast and treating them to a ride on his private jet to Las Vegas. During this outing, Trump shared his evolving sports preferences, noting that he finds boxing “slow” compared to the fast-paced world of MMA.

In a phone conversation with Dana White, Trump expressed excitement for Jon Jones’ comeback at UFC 309. He playfully arranged a breakfast meeting with White, joking about the UFC CEO’s supposed late-rising habits.
