In the latest chapter of the ongoing feud between Dillon Danis and Khabib Nurmagomedov, the former Bellator welterweight has taken aim at the retired UFC icon over an alleged social media interaction.
Danis recently reacted to claims that Nurmagomedov had slid into a woman’s Instagram direct messages, sharing a screenshot with the caption “Haram.” This one-word response was a clear jab at Nurmagomedov’s devout Muslim faith, as “haram” refers to actions considered forbidden or sinful in Islam.
Danis previously used the same strategy on islam Makhachev with more success.

The post quickly drew a fiery response from Nurmagomedov’s longtime manager, Ali Abdelaziz. In a terse comment, Abdelaziz warned Danis, “You don’t learn your lesson. I see you soon.” This suggests that Nurmagomedov’s camp is not taking Danis’ latest provocation lightly.

The backstory to this latest exchange lies in the long-running rivalry between Danis and Nurmagomedov. The two have traded barbs and insults for years, stemming from Danis’ close association with Nurmagomedov’s longtime rival, Conor McGregor.
Furthermore, this particular screenshot appears to have been a calculated ploy for publicity from same model. The model posted a video of the inbox once questioned by Khabib’s radical fans however she refused to go in and out of inbox to refresh the html elements causing many on lookers to question if the image was indeed photoshopped. Khabib’s fans were pretty ‘chill’ about it.

While this was possibly photoshopped a similar exchange had surfaced years earlier when Khabib was nowehere near his current stardom level so perhaps that served as inspiration for the stunt.
With tensions already running high between the two camps, this latest social media skirmish is sure to add further fuel to the fire. Fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on any developments, as this feud shows no signs of cooling down anytime soon.
