In the latest example of the skyrocketing value of UFC memorabilia, a jersey signed by Mackenzie Dern has sold for an impressive $2,375 at an online auction. The jersey was worn during the UFC Fight Night event featuring Sandhagen vs Nurmagomedov.
The auction, hosted on the UFC Collectibles platform, saw intense bidding activity with 14 bids placed before the hammer fell. The jersey’s high price tag demonstrates the growing appetite for authentic, fight-worn items from popular UFC athletes.
Dern, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and rising star in the women’s strawweight division, has built a significant following since her UFC debut. This sale underscores her popularity among fans and collectors alike.
This auction follows other recent high-profile sales in the UFC memorabilia market. Tracy Cortez’s fight-worn shorts from UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs. Shevchenko 2 recently sold for $3,400, while Valentina Shevchenko’s UFC 275 shorts fetched $5,000.
But while these three stars all used UFC approved site – with the UFC getting a cut Hannah Goldy went viral last year when she decided to auction off her UFC worn under garments.
Goldy launched her OF account at the time to raise money for her newly purchased home. The athlete was juggling three jobs at two gyms and a restaurant while the epidemic affected her UFC career.
Goldy might’ve taken this to an extreme but she’s by no means the first. Recently retired Felice Herrig revealed that she’d earned half a million dollars from her feet pics – more than she’s ever made from her UFC appearances.
Mackenzie Dern remains one of the most marketable female stars the UFC has despite her MMA career hitting an occasional snag. Her record stands at 14 wins 5 losses. She last defeated Loopy Godinez via anonimous decision in Abu Dhabi. Dern will be competing in submission grappling in a week against former ADCC champion Ffion Davies in Craig Jones’ inaugural event Craig Jones Invitational.
