UFC flyweight contender, Casey Kenney, has been accused of acting violently and abusing an ex-girlfriend during their relationship. The allegations have surfaced through social media posts made by the alleged girlfriend’s mother, Esther Reyes.
Reyes, who has taken to her Instagram account to share the disturbing details, claims that the incident occurred on Monday, July 22, 2024. According to her posts, Reyes found her daughter being abused by Kenney and subsequently called the authorities to conduct a wellness-check. However, the situation escalated, with Kenney allegedly barricading himself inside the home, and no arrests were made at the time.
“Again my daughter press charges he barricaded himself in he (sic) home and no arrests were made as of today,” Reyes wrote. “He’s still a freeman. Incident happened Monday, July 22, 2024.”
The accusations have been accompanied by a direct call-out of Kenney, with Reyes describing him as a “dirt bag” and a “psycho” who has done this to her daughter.
Kenney, a native of Indiana, has been a prominent figure in the UFC’s flyweight division, with a professional record of 16-4-1 prior to his decision loss to Song Yadong in August 2021. He has also suffered a split judging defeat to former two-time undisputed bantamweight champion, Dominick Cruz, in March of that year.

The serious allegations against Kenney have come at a time when he has been out of action for the previous three years, with no scheduled fights within the promotion. The UFC has yet to comment on the situation, but the accusations could have significant implications for the Kenney’s future in the organization.
