Molly McCann Through the Years

  • 4 May 1990: Born in Liverpool, England.
  • Childhood: Partially raised by her grandmother in Norris Green, Liverpool; trained in karate, kickboxing, and Thai boxing.
  • Circa 2002: Began boxing around age 12.
  • 2003-2008: Played football for Liverpool until an ankle ligament injury ended her football career.
  • 2006: Signed by Liverpool manager Keith “Cliffy” Cliffe as a promising midfielder.
  • 2008-2013: Studied at Liverpool John Moores University, earning a degree in sports development and physical education.
