UFC Pirate Shara Magomedov Set to Slay on Screen as Hollywood Hitman

Sharaputdin “Bullet” Magomedov, the rising star of the UFC’s middleweight division, is set to make his Hollywood debut. The Russian star has been tapped to play the role of an assassin in a short film being produced in Los Angeles, United States.

Magomedov, who currently holds an impressive 12-0 undefeated record in the UFC, revealed the news in an interview with Red Corner MMA. He shared that one of his managers approached him with the opportunity, and despite his busy schedule, he couldn’t pass up the chance.

“One of my managers told me about this idea, three shooting days, a short film. I will need to fly to Los Angeles. They are going to pay for my visa and all the expenses. I gave it a thought, asked him about the role, he said it was a killer, I decided to take this offer,” Magomedov said.

The UFC has had to reschedule Magomedov’s next fight, which was originally slated for March, to June to accommodate his Hollywood commitments. However, the promotion seems to be supportive of the fighter’s venture, as they are taking care of the logistics, including his visa and other expenses.

Magomedov, known for his striking prowess, has made a name for himself in the UFC with his impressive performances. His most recent victory came against veteran Bruno Silva in October 2023, further cementing his status as one of the rising talents in the division.

Now, the Dagestani fighter is set to showcase his acting chops as he takes on the role of an assassin in the short film. This opportunity not only showcases Magomedov’s versatility but also highlights the growing influence of MMA athletes in the entertainment industry.

As Magomedov gears up for his upcoming fight at UFC Saudi Arabia, where he will face Joilton Lutterbach, the fighter is also focused on his Hollywood debut. Fans of the sport and cinema alike will be eagerly anticipating Magomedov’s performance on the silver screen, as he looks to add another feather to his cap.
