(Video) UFC’s Sedriques Dumas Claims He Got Submitted Because of an Infused joint He Unknowingly ingested

In a candid admission, UFC star Sedriques Dumas has revealed that he was under the influence  during his recent bout against Josh Fremd. Dumas, known for his openness about his passion for weed, explained that a friend had unknowingly provided him with an infused product, leading to an unexpected and prolonged high.

“I went into the fight and fought Josh Fremd high out of my mind because my friend at the time gave me an infused joint instead of a regular joint,” Dumas confessed to KrazyKev. He clarified that infused products contain oils and hashish, which can have a more potent and long-lasting effect.

Dumas acknowledged that his decision to consume cannabis before the fight was a mistake. “I should have just kept it 100 with myself. Never let somebody roll your own weed and never let nobody go buy weed for you when you tell them to go get something for you,” he advised.

The fighter admitted that the unexpected high impacted his performance, causing his timing and wrestling abilities to suffer. “So that’s what messed me up in my fight. So my timing was off, my wrestling was off, everything,” he explained.

Dumas’ admission sheds light on the potential risks of consuming cannabis before a professional athletic event. While weed use is legal in some regions, its impact on athletic performance remains a contentious topic.

Moving forward, Dumas has learned a valuable lesson about taking responsibility for his actions and being cautious about accepting substances from others. “Moral of the story, do the stuff yourself when you want to make sure you’re straight,” he advised fellow athletes.
