(Video) Canelo Alvarez didn’t hold back on a fan who asked him for a body shot

In a wild turn of events, boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez was caught on camera unleashing a a of punch on a fan who dared to ask the boxer for a body shot.

The request occurred when a bold fan approached Alvarez at a public event, reportedly asking the boxer to throw a body shot at him. Alvarez obliged delivering a swift punch to the fan’s midsection.

While some have criticized Alvarez for indulging the fan, others have defended the boxer, citing the fan’s reckless behavior as a provocation. “You can’t just walk up to someone, especially someone of Canelo’s stature, and ask them to hit you,” said one fan on social media. “What did he expect?”

Alvarez, who is widely regarded as one of the greatest boxers of his generation, has a reputation for being fiercely protective of his personal space. With a reported net worth of over $140 million, the Mexican boxer is accustomed to a level of respect and deference that is often not afforded to ordinary individuals.

Recently, Canelo Alvarez issued a serious warning to Mike Tyson about his upcoming fight with Jake Paul, emphasizing the risks involved for the 57-year-old boxing legend.

“It’s hard to predict, it’s risky for Mike Tyson because he’s 57, 58 years old, I don’t know, and boxing is not a joke. But I understand why they do this, it’s a business, they’re going to box in front of 80 thousand people.”

While Alvarez understands the business motives behind Tyson’s decision, he cautions that boxing is not a joke, especially given Tyson’s age. The card, scheduled for July 20 at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas, will be broadcast by Netflix.

Jake Paul, who has a professional record of 9-1, respects Tyson’s decision to make the fight professional. Tyson, with a storied career of 50 wins and 6 losses, last fought in an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.

As for Alvarez, he’s likely to defend his title again. Diego Pacheco is now considered the primary contender for the WBO super middleweight title.
