Nowadays, almost everyone knows that pro wrestling is fake. The moves are choreographed and the outcomes of the matches are all predetermined. However, it doesn’t change the fact that pro wrestling is very entertaining to watch, resulting in big popularity, especially back then.

Shrek (2001) This animated movie is just full of hilarious sequences. It was so ahead of its time that Shrek is still very popular until now. One of the most hilarious moments was when the knights attacked Shrek at Lord Farquad’s castle. But, he easily defeated them and the scene hilariously shifts to a pro-wrestling match vibe. Not just that, Shrek also performed several wrestling moves.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
A simple wrestling move was done by the main antagonist Green Goblin. During a clash with Spider-Man in his apartment, Spider-Man jumped onto Green Goblin’s shoulder and rained down punches to his face. But, Green Goblin was unfazed and proceeded to execute a powerbomb. Later on, he also did a spinebuster. Both moves broke the floor and sent Spider-Man to the lower level.
The Mandalorian: Season 2 Chapter 16 (2020) WWE star Mercedes Varnado aka Sasha Banks played as Koska Reeves in the TV series The Mandalorian. She had several battle scenes, and had the opportunity to pull off a wrestling move. During her clash with Boba Fett, Varnado executed a Tornado DDT on Boba Fett using her jetpack.
Fast X (2023) WWE star turned actor John Cena was cast as Dom’s brother Jakob. In this action-packed movie, Cena had the opportunity to do his iconic move, the Attitude Adjustment. During a clash against some mobs, Cena slammed the mob so hard the floor got broken down.
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire This may be the most ridiculous one but quite amazing. Kong tried to lure his former nemesis Godzilla to the hollow earth. However, due to consuming too much energy, Godzilla became furious and attacked Kong. The two had a brief duel where Godzilla executed a suplex against Kong on the Giza pyramid.
