Ronda Rousey mentality ‘better than Kobe Bryant’ claims Famous UFC Ex

Ronda Rousey has come up as the first female superstar in Mixed Martial Arts, transforming the landscape of the sport. Initially, UFC CEO Dana White opposed the idea of women competing in the UFC. However, Rousey’s remarkable skills and charisma changed his mind.

Recently, Rousey released a memoir filled with intense criticisms. It also included sharp remarks about her ex-boyfriend, Brendan Schaub. Despite her harsh words, Schaub has only praises for Rousey. He compared her competitive spirit to the legendary Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant is one of the greatest basketball players in NBA history. He spent his entire career with the Los Angeles Lakers. A five-time NBA champion and former MVP, Bryant’s approach to the game is known as the ‘Mamba mentality.’ It emphasized relentless dedication and mental toughness.

Schaub recently compared Rousey’s mentality to Bryant’s, highlighting the similarities in their approaches to their respective sports.

He stated on his podcast: “When you have her [Ronda Rousey] mentality, that Kobe Bryant [Mentality] mentality, and I think her mentality is probably even stronger than Kobe’s. When you have that Ronda mentality, the downside doesn’t come with it. They will never give you a fu**ing inch, and that’s why she’s the greatest female fighter of all time. She won’t give you a fu**ing inch.”

Kobe Bryant believes that this fierce mentality led Rousey to make scathing comments about him in her memoir. Schaub mentioned that he would never include Rousey in his memoir, considering her insignificant to his life. According to Rousey’s memoir, she accused Schaub of playing mind games during their relationship.

Rousey has recently asserted her position as the best contender ever in MMA. She attributes her UFC losses to various factors, including a concussion. Additionally, she has openly criticized Vince McMahon and WWE. Despite her critiques, Rousey remains a trailblazer for women’s MMA who paved the way for future generations of female contenders.
