Jake Paul calls out Nate Diaz and Canelo Alvarez after beating Anderson Silva

After defeating Anderson Silva, Jake Paul called out Nate Diaz as well as boxing icon Canelo Alvarez.

Paul extended his undefeated streak to six professional bouts by defeating the 47-year-old Silva by unanimous decision. The judges scored the boxer-turned-YouTuber 77-74, 78-73, and 78-73.

Additionally, Paul called out Diaz in his ring interview. Paul said,

“I want Nate Diaz, he’s a b****. He tried to come into my locker room and cause some s*** then he always leaves the f****ng arena so Nate Diaz, stop being a b**** and fight me.”

Paul also called out undisputed super-middleweight champion Alvarez, adding:

“Canelo, you too. You guys said you can’t beat a striker and a legend like Anderson Silva, I just did it. So, why can’t I beat Canelo? F*** y’all.”

Diaz watched Paul’s matchup with Silva at the Desert Diamond Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. This is due to Chris Avila, another member of his squad, taking part in the event’s undercard.

With Diaz watching from the stands, the former UFC featherweight defeated YouTube sensation “Doctor Mike” Varshavski by unanimous decision. By the time the starting bell for the bout between Paul and Silva rang, Diaz had already made his way into the tunnel and was busy getting involved in a 20 men drink throwing altercation.

Since the beginning of the year, the bout between Diaz and Jake Paul has been mentioned. It is now more likely to happen since Diaz, who spent 15 years competing in the UFC, finally served out his contract.

Diaz recently said to iD Boxing:

“Jake is for sure one of the options, he’s doing big stuff, he’s doing really big things and he’s got a big fight ahead of him and if he wins that I think people should surely be really impressed by it.”

“You know, Nate Diaz was here acting like a b*tch. Everyone wants that fight. He tried to fight people in the hallway. You know, Nate, stop fighting people for free. Just do it in the ring, okay? I know. I know you’re a little slow, buddy, but it’s okay. We can make that fight happen. It’s, you know, typical of him.”

Although Diaz has never boxed, past world champions like Regis Prograis and Andre Ward have praised his ring prowess. Due to the UFC contract’s exclusivity clause, Diaz won’t be allowed to talk to Paul about boxing until the beginning of next year and even then UFC has matching rights so they would be allowed to resign him if they make him a competitive offer.
