Rogan Calls Out LGBT Pastors For ‘Woke Weirdness’ Like Claiming God Is ‘Non-binary’

Joe Rogan has criticized what he described as a growing trend of LGBT pastors promoting a different interpretation of Christianity, questioning whether progressive ideas are being incorporated into religious teachings at the expense of biblical tradition.

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience featuring Konstantin Kisin, Rogan discussed how some pastors have challenged conventional Christian beliefs, particularly concerning gender identity and abortion.

“There’s been this larger than normal presence of these LGBT pastors and these people that are promoting a very different Christianity. And they’re talking about things that biblical scholars are like, ‘Hey, wait, what page is this on? What? Where does it say abortion’s okay? How are you getting to that? Where does it say God’s non-binary?’”

Rogan subsequently described the trend as “a lot of this weirdness,” criticizing what he characterized as progressive ideology entering religious institutions.

“This woke weirdness that sort of entered into religion in some pastors are doing it,” he noted.

Questioning whether such reinterpretations were beneficial, Rogan suggested that abandoning traditional teachings could fundamentally change the religion itself.

“And you go, okay, is that good? I don’t know if that’s good. I mean, is it because you’re not following the original stuff?”

He then argued that if Christians were willing to reconsider established biblical teachings, certain passages concerning slavery and violence should receive attention before debates about God’s gender identity.

Rogan stated, “So, if we’re going to not follow the original stuff, shouldn’t we go and take out the slavery part first? Like, shouldn’t we go and take out the slaughtering of women and children first? Because that’s in there.”

Rogan concluded his argument by reiterating that other controversial biblical passages should be addressed before attempting to redefine traditional religious concepts.

“There’s a lot of stuff that’s in there we should probably concentrate on first before we start saying God’s non-binary,” Rogan noted.
