Tyson Fury’s July 24 bout against Mariusz Wach in Pattaya, Thailand is shaping up to be one of the more unusual events on the boxing calendar this year.
Fury took to Instagram to inform fans that anyone hoping to catch the contest live through a conventional sports broadcaster will be left waiting. “This great match will not be broadcasted live! It will only be broadcast on my hit Netflix TV show At Home with the Furys season 3,” he wrote.
Fury also revealed that only 1,500 VIP tickets will be available for the event. According to the heavyweight, all proceeds will be donated to starving and homeless children in Pattaya, with the WBC creating a special commemorative belt specifically for the occasion.
He wrote:Â “There are only 1500 VIP tickets available and all proceeds will be donated to local starving & homeless children of Pattaya.”
“Its a beautiful thing I’m able to do here giving back to a great cause, and the WBC will be creating an exclusive belt for the event.”

Despite Netflix’s logo appearing prominently on promotional materials for the event, the company is not involved as a broadcaster in the traditional sense. Their cameras will be present ringside, but solely to capture footage for the third season of the Fury family’s reality series.
According to BoxingScene, one option being explored is airing the bout through Goldstar’s YouTube channel, though no official arrangements have been confirmed.
The matchup is widely regarded as a tune-up ahead of a heavily anticipated meeting between Fury and Anthony Joshua, expected to take place later in 2026. Joshua himself is scheduled to appear in a separate contest in Saudi Arabia the very next day, July 25, giving that week a curious back-to-back quality.
As for Wach, the 46-year-old Polish heavyweight brings a record of 39 wins and 13 losses with 20 knockouts. He has not recorded a victory over a notable opponent since 2017, and among his career losses is a 2020 points defeat handed to him by Hughie Fury, Tyson’s cousin. Fury, by comparison, holds a record of 35 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw, with 24 knockouts to his name.
