Armwrestling Legend Devon Larratt Refuses To Reveal PED Stack Because Of How It Might Influence The Younger Generation

Devon Larratt is one of the most recognized names in professional armwrestling, and ahead of his upcoming right-hand match against Vitaly Laletin, fans have been paying close attention to visible changes in his physique.

After already dropping the left-hand contest to Laletin by a score of 4-0, Larratt is clearly preparing seriously for the rematch. That preparation has sparked questions about what he may be running in terms of PEDs.

Observers have pointed to noticeable inflammation in Larratt’s face as one of the more visible signs that something has changed in his preparation. It was enough to prompt a fan to ask him directly about his cycle, and Larratt’s response was candid, even if it stopped short of full disclosure.

“You know, that stuff is fascinating,” Larratt said. “The reason why I don’t publicly talk about stuff too much is I don’t want to influence that. People really, especially young people… I’ll say that one thing, I started very late, okay? And even when I started, I’ll say that I did so many things wrong. I’d say find an expert, okay? There are really good people out there who really know their stuff. It’s not me, okay?”

Larratt acknowledged that he may open up about the specifics at some point, but made it clear that it would likely happen away from public platforms.

His primary concern seemed to be the impact that detailed discussion of PED use could have on younger athletes who look up to him.

“At some point I’ll open up about it. I just probably, probably more private form,” he said. “And I really think that for young athletes, you just shouldn’t. I think it’s probably best that you just don’t until you’ve had kids, taking yourself as far as you can naturally. I think it’s probably wise.”

Larratt’s visibility has grown significantly ahead of the Laletin matchup, and with physical changes drawing attention, it is unlikely that questions about his preparation will slow down.
