Alpha Male Influencer Used ChatGPT To Justify His Stalking Behavior

A self-proclaimed alpha male podcaster is now facing up to 55 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to 11 counts of stalking-related charges, along with a potential fine of $2.75 million.

Creator Brett Dadig spent months documenting his own unlawful behavior, effectively building the prosecution’s case against himself.

He launched a solo venture called The Standard Podcast, where he described himself as a high-value dating coach and relationship authority. “I want to be the best husband, the best dad, the best brother, the best friend, the best co-worker, the best manager,” he told his listeners in an early episode. The content that followed told a very different story.

At the heart of the federal case is Brett’s pattern of targeting women at private gyms, yoga studios, and fitness classes across multiple states, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida, Iowa, and New York.

When those women rejected his advances, he escalated, going online to threaten them, contacting their families, and eventually relocating to a new city to repeat the cycle. He was banned from numerous fitness establishments throughout this period.

What made the case particularly unusual was Brett’s deep reliance on ChatGPT. He treated the AI tool as both a therapist and a life coach, using it to draft messages for dates, generate marketing material for companies he fabricated, and seek constant emotional validation.

“I use ChatGPT religiously. Like, it’s my therapist. It’s my best friend,” he said openly on his podcast.

Rather than encouraging any self-reflection, the AI interactions appeared to deepen his sense of righteousness. In one episode, he compared his own behavior to divine punishment.

“You people look at me and you see my chaos… Jesus did the same thing. God flooded the earth because he was like, ‘You know what? All of you. I ha te what you’re doing down there.'” The comparison drew widespread mockery online.

In another moment captured on podcast audio, Brett broke down after asking ChatGPT to write a romantic story about him meeting the woman of his dreams.

“If a girl felt like this about me,” he said, voice breaking. “I was just in jail for 20 days because I just wanted a girl to like me.”

Women on Reddit and Facebook began warning each other about Brett while he continued broadcasting his whereabouts and intentions openly on his podcast. He named his targets, made threats involving physical harm, and routinely walked them back moments later.

“That’s the old Brett. This is new Brett,” he said in one episode following a particularly alarming outburst.

He was arrested in November 2025, and a federal indictment followed in December. On March 19th, Brett pleaded guilty to 11 counts before United States Judge Marilyn J. Huran. Sentencing is scheduled for July 9th, 2026, and he remains in custody.
