During a recent episode of IMPAULSIVE recorded in Chicago, host Mike Majlak revealed that he had quietly made €400,000 in a single week through a referral arrangement with a hair transplant clinic in Turkey.
The story began when Mike admitted he had spotted someone at a nightclub holding up a photograph of him. “Somebody was holding this phone in the audience at the club. It’s a picture of me right after I got my hair transplant in Turkey,” he said.
When asked about the experience, he confirmed that the clinic had been pushing for a second visit, saying simply, “They want me to go back out there for round two.”

The conversation then turned to how the financial arrangement came together, and Mike walked through the entire deal from the beginning.
“When I went out, they were going to give me cash to do my hair. Anyways, they were going to give me some cash to do the deal there. And I was like, ‘Yeah, like why don’t I get like, you know, 15K, you know what I’m saying? And then free, and me and my videographer got his done too, same time.’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah, we’ll do it for free.'”
That could have been where the arrangement ended, but his manager stepped in with a suggestion that changed everything.
“Manager Jeff, who’s the goat of all managers in the creator industry, he calls me. He’s like, ‘Why don’t you throw in a referral fee with them so that if anybody signs up, you get some little bit of money?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, that could be cool.’ Not thinking about the level of impact that us megastars have.”
The result was far beyond anything Mike had anticipated. “They gave me €200 per signup. I had 2,000 signups in the first week,” he said, before summing it up in two words: “400 rackaroos.”
There has been a growing trend behind influencer hair transplant content recently. While the procedures are often marketed as budget trips to Turkey, industry insiders say many influencers are actually participating in referral or promotional deals that can turn the surgery itself into a lucrative business opportunity.
