Rampage Jackson shares unedited version a clip after backlash over saying white people are evil

Former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson became the center of a social media firestorm after a clip from one of his recent livestreams went viral. The MMA star responded by releasing additional footage to give context to his remarks.

The initial clip showed Jackson responding to someone identified as “Lazy Lagoon” who had made comments about Black people. Lagoon was basically prodding Jackson about his son Raja’s attack and claiming racial motivation.

“racist white people are the most evil people on this f**king planet, in this f**king country.”

The clip spread fast and triggered backlash from critics who accused Jackson of making generalizations about white people. Jackson said the clip was selectively edited to misrepresent him.

He addressed the situation online and clarified his point.

“I have to keep it real, if you know me I love all people I’m one of God’s soldiers, that being said, I’m not perfect, and I say a lot on my live streams, and some s**t gets clipped and edited to make me look bad so clippers can get views.”

The 46-year-old MMA star stressed that his comments were directed toward racist individuals and not all white people. He said the edited clip made his point appear broader than intended. He added that even he gets pulled into bait situations sometimes.

Jackson later released a follow-up video where he expanded on what he meant.

“I think anybody that’s racist, no matter what race they are, is evil.”

He also expressed frustration with people who took offense to his historical observations. He said selective editing makes online discourse messy and misleading.

“I understand that s**t get taken out of text and you got some f**ked up clippers that say some f**ked up s**t and twist my motherf**king words.”

While discussing the backlash, Jackson did not back away from his position. His criticism was focused on racist conduct, not any demographic group.

“I don’t give a f**k how mad y’all get about me telling the motherf**king truth. Stop being motherf**king evil.”

Jackson acknowledged this will likely not be the last time something he says is misrepresented.

“This probably won’t be the last time something I say gets taken out of context. Much love to all except the evil people.”
