A controversial Russian blogger learned a painful lesson about respect during a livestream that quickly spiraled out of control in Dubai.
Subkhan Mamedov, better known by his online persona Subo, was broadcasting live with a pop-MMA star when the situation took a dramatic turn.
During their conversation, the 26-year-old blogger made a provocative claim about his guest. He suggested the fighter had been on his knees begging the UFC president for assistance. The comment proved to be the breaking point for the already tense interaction.

The fighter’s response was immediate and physical. What began as a typical streaming session transformed into chaos as the insulted guest lost his composure and began striking Mamedov on camera. The incident was captured in real-time for his millions of followers to witness.
According to reports, the confrontation didn’t end there. Despite the physical altercation, Mamedov refused to back down from his position. Even when his aggressor demanded he get on his knees to apologize, the blogger stood his ground, unwilling to submit to the humiliating request.

This latest controversy adds to an already complicated year for Mamedov, who built his career on pushing boundaries and testing patience. With over 14 million Instagram followers and more than 1.6 million YouTube subscribers, the Moscow-born content creator gained notoriety for his pranks targeting random pedestrians and, notably, law enforcement officers.
His content history includes grabbing strangers, staging provocative scenarios, and engaging in increasingly risky behavior. In one memorable incident from 2019, he attempted to run onto the field during a Lokomotiv versus Juventus football match but fell from the stands, breaking his arm in the process.
Beyond his provocative online presence, Mamedov ventured into legitimate business, opening a burger establishment in central Moscow in 2023, and dabbled in music, even opening for Jennifer Lopez’s Moscow concert in 2019.
However, his prank-focused career caught up with him in significant ways. His decision to target police officers in multiple videos – including one where he impersonated an officer to commandeer a civilian vehicle – triggered serious legal consequences.
In February 2025, Mamedov was stripped of his Russian citizenship after authorities discovered he had provided false information when obtaining his passport. He was subsequently banned from entering Russia for 70 years. Authorities also opened a criminal investigation involving tax evasion and money laundering charges, alleging he and family members avoided paying over 50 million rubles in taxes between 2020 and 2022.
The blogger now resides in the United Arab Emirates using his Azerbaijani citizenship, where he continues creating content despite his exile from Russia. His brother faces house arrest in connection with the financial allegations, while their father has been placed under recognizance.
The Dubai livestream incident serves as yet another chapter in Mamedov’s pattern of confrontational content creation – though this time, he found himself on the receiving end of the outrage his style typically generates in others.
