What was supposed to be a routine promotional interview for Misfits Boxing 22 erupted into absolute chaos when heavyweight boxer Chase DeMoor found himself on the receiving end of an unexpected breakfast item.
During a face-to-face sit-down with his opponent Natan Marcoń ahead of their scheduled heavyweight title bout, the Polish boxer decided to make a memorable impression by launching an egg directly at DeMoor’s face. The incident has since gone viral across social media platforms.
The provocation worked exactly as intended. DeMoor’s reaction was instantaneous. Covered in egg residue, he flipped the interview table in front of him before attempting to charge at his opponent. What followed was a remarkable scene that required six security personnel to contain the situation. Two guards quickly moved to shield Marcoń while four others worked frantically to restrain the enraged DeMoor.
“You forget your eggs, so I give you one,” Marcoń quipped coolly as security scrambled around him, displaying the kind of calculated antagonism that has become increasingly common in modern combat sports promotion.
The restraint effort proved more challenging than anyone anticipated. DeMoor’s fury didn’t subside quickly, and he managed to pull one security guard’s shirt over the man’s face, temporarily blinding him during the scuffle. The chaos lasted over two minutes, with DeMoor continuing his attempts to break free even after Marcoń had been safely escorted from the room.
