UFC President Dana White has recently revealed plans for what could be the highest-stakes gambling session in recent memory. He intends to team up with Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin for million-dollar-per-hand blackjack action at a major casino.
During a recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, White disclosed that discussions are already underway with a casino group to make this extraordinary gambling venture a reality. “Me and Michael Rubin want to do it together. Me and Michael Rubin want to go in together and be able to play a million a hand each and uh we we’re right there. It’s going to happen,” White confirmed.
The concept emerged from previous podcast appearances where White had mentioned the possibility of finding a casino that would accommodate such massive betting limits. What was once theoretical has now materialized into serious negotiations with casino executives who reached out to White directly.
When asked about the mechanics, White explained they would operate on credit rather than bringing physical cash. “You go in there and you go credit. Especially a million a hand,” he noted, adding that winning would require them to “roll out of there with a dump truck” of chips.
White acknowledged the potentially serious consequences of such extreme gambling. “You know how fast that could get really scary? Oh yeah, it’s going to be mental. It’s going to be mental,” he admitted. White recognized that once accustomed to million-dollar hands, smaller bets would lose their thrill entirely.
This isn’t White’s first foray into high-stakes gambling. He’s well-known in gambling circles for his generous nature at the tables, frequently helping out friends who find themselves in difficult situations. When asked about his lifetime total of money given away at casinos, White estimated it to be “a massive number,” though he declined to specify exact figures.
During the interview, Dana White also revealed plans for what he calls “the baddest card of all time.” It will be set against an iconic backdrop featuring the White House and the Washington Monument.
White confirmed overwhelming fighter interest regarding the event. “Everybody wants to fight at this point. Literally everybody wants to fight,” White emphasized.
Additionally, UFC icon Conor McGregor has been actively messaging the UFC brass saying he’s “dialed in” and ready for a return.”He was actually sending us voice messages saying, ‘guys, I’m dialed. I’m ready for this and stuff,'” White shared regarding McGregor’s interest.
The event is expected to take place sometime after Donald Trump’s inauguration in January 2025.
