Fresh out of anesthesia and in a vulnerable state, the fan was recorded by his girlfriend as she delivered the news that UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O’Malley had lost the rematch to Merab Dvalishvili via submission.
“I’m sorry. Sean O’Malley lost,” she told him in the viral video, adding details to sell the story. “He was getting choked down. He tapped.”
The fan, still groggy from medication, immediately became emotional at the news. His childlike reaction showed genuine distress as he repeatedly said “No” and appeared on the verge of tears, unable to process the fabricated defeat of his favorite star.

The Georgian showed his class by commenting “I’m sorry” on the post after being tagged repeatedly by amused viewers, acknowledging the fan’s distress.
