‘Agent Recon’ is a very corny action sci-fi thriller from director Derek Ting which features Hollywood icon and action movie hero Chuck Norris. The official trailer for the movie was released recently.
Norris will be appearing in his movie for his one last on-screen showdown, and this time he will be sporting a a minigun.
The story follows a covert military task force that investigates an energy disturbance at a secret base in New Mexico, suspected of conducting experiments on alien technology. Upon arrival, the team encounters a powerful unknown being and an army of mindless warriors, leading to an intense battle to save humanity.
This movie also stars Marc Singer, Sylvia Kwan, Jason Scott Jenkins, and Nikki Leigh.
Speaking about the movie, Director Ting stated: “My stunt team pushed the boundaries of my vision for clear grounded action elevated with motivated storytelling, and we had Chuck’s son Dakota come on board to choreograph all of his father’s fight sequences.”
Norris’s iconic career spans several decades, beginning in the 1960s. He has become synonymous with tough-guy roles, often portraying characters who embody strength and resilience.
Norris is popular for his memorable portrayal of Cordell Walker in the hit TV series ‘Walker, Texas Ranger’, which aired from 1993 to 2001. His martial arts skills has been a central theme in many of his films, cementing his status as a martial arts legend. His last significant big-screen role was in 2012’s ‘The Expendables 2.’ In that movie, he starred alongside action icons like Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, and Dolph Lundgren.
With ‘Agent Recon,’ Norris recently announced his return to film. He shared a pair of photos on Instagram taken 40 years apart, each depicting him holding weapons.
He captioned the picture: “Here’s a pretty neat parallel I thought you’d all enjoy! Almost 40 years apart. I can’t wait for you all to see what’s in store in the upcoming film, ‘Agent Recon.’ Coming soon!”
